Birth Control is Candy

, ,

Under Obamacare, contraception is candy. There is only one type of medication required by law to be dispensed with zero co-pay and that is the handpicked by the government types of birth control. Not all birth control. Just the birth control selected by the government that women might wish to use. If one is not a candidate for birth control, one is still required by the government to purchase increasingly expensive health insurance that provides coverage for this.

Lest I remain unclear, I am required to purchase insurance that provides coverage for a medication no one in my family can get a prescription for and it gets astronomically more expensive every year.

I am not at all opposed to birth control, I am so tired of the canard that “Republicans hate birth control” and even more tired of the ignorant who genuinely believe this. As a young woman, I was always resourceful enough to keep myself in birth control and premium cosmetics. How did we get to a place where people actually believe the lie that birth control is healthcare?

Birth control is a lifestyle choice, not healthcare. Birth control is candy fed to brainwashed women and omega males by Democrats to buy their votes. The only thing missing is Obama parachuting onto a Planned Parenthood clinic proclaiming, “Mission accomplished.”

Birth control pills have some positive side effects that are prescribed to combat other medical conditions such as acne.  Another drug that is prescribed for its side effects is Topamax, a drug prescribed for epilepsy and migraine headaches. Topamax has also been known to be beneficial as a weight loss drug.

No weight loss drug is covered by health insurance. And now, in order to get a prescription for Topamax, your doctor must prove to the insurance company you have migraines or epilepsy.

What does this all mean? Well, as it turns out the gullible women outweighs the overweight in America. It’s either that or socialized medicine is designed to kill off people with chronic health problems like the ones that stem from obesity.

Socialism Kills. It killed affordable health insurance and it prematurely kills the weakest amongst us. Socialism kills a woman’s ability to do for herself.

Trump Supporters 101

After a civil back and forth regarding the questions Donald Trump was posed by Fox News, I pivoted to a lighthearted topic

And a Donald Trump supporter had this to say:

Help me arrange my shocked face. I have had way too much Botox, apparently…

Smart take

Oh, I can discuss with the “menfolk”, just not the spoiled children.

This answer is might be why they thought the Fox News questions were to hard for their blowhard in chief;

I for one am grateful to be far less ugly on the outside than this jack booted thug is on the inside.

Kareem Abdul Jabbar Botches the Constitution

Right out of the gate, he says this… “The gathering of Davis’ supporters and their anti-American signs are no different from the “Death to America” rallies we see in some foreign countries.”

When one spouts that vituperative , all credibility is lost. I have never heard once of a christian conservative who has wished death upon anyone like Iranians wish upon us.

The Islamic convert then goes on to bash American Christians..√  I can’t be the only one who sees the irony there.

Jabbar then goes on to cite several non-relevant examples of when your religion cannot supercede your job. Most laughable? “The Christian Scientist clerk at the IRS cannot audit your taxes because you chose medical help.”

True, but apparently IRS directors can target Conservatives with impunity and get paid leave, not jail.

Abdul-Jabbar’s stunning lack of understanding of the constitution continues. The 1st amendment states, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

Congress making no law respecting the establishment of religion leaves it wide open to the states to do so. Marriage is a contract. The states have an obligation to enforce a contract. When they allow priests, ministers, rabbis, etc to execute a contract, they clearly are exercising their freedom with regard to the widely misunderstood “Separation of Church and State”.

However, the 14th amendment assuring the right of equal protection prevents the states from enforcing the contracts of some people rather than other people. Why is this so hard to understand? Kim Davis should have resigned, not be thrown in jail. The state of Kentucky has a process for recall elections, impeachment and amending their own state laws and must adhere to that despite what an activist Supreme Court of the United States says.

The facts of the case are this,

But facts, schmacts. At this point, what difference does it make?

Planned Parenthood’s Most Damning Video ramps up the #WaOnWomen Brigade. Not.

, ,

The most damning and hard to watch Planned Parenthood Video to date makes it’s debut.

Famed TwitterFeminazi’s had this to say,

I guess it’s ok to suck the brains out of live male babies?

The righteously indignant Jessica Valenti tweeted  ;

And this about her ‘kid’ who should learn to sleep with one eye open..

Liberal, Internet Feminazis are frauds. They are about themselves and “free” birth control while ignoring pre-meditated murder if born alive U.S. citizens and the rape of 12 year old girl sex slaves in the Middle East.

Serial Killers, Planned Parenthood and Feministing helpfully tweeted a Google Maps to a fast murder near you.

And the moral of the story? Liberals wage the war on women.

Mission Accomplished!!!!

As the ever-crowded GOP field of Presidential candidates jockey for position for a spot in the coveted 10 spaces in the upcoming Fox News debate, Mike Huckabee takes aim at the lead for the race to the bottom.

Criticizing the very bad Iran deal Secretary of State John Kerry is peddling, Pastor Mike Huckabee had this to say, “Will take the Israeli’s and march them to the door of the oven”.

Reducing the Holocaust to a sound bite in a desperate attempt to wrest attention from fellow clown Donald Trump is, as Obama himself said, “ Stupid, if it wasn’t so sad”. This is the only time I have ever agreed with Obama.

To imply Israel is incapable of defending itself is monumentally stupid. As for the question, is Israel nuclear or not, we shall leave that to you, dear reader.

The backlash and support on Twitter was swift and severe on both sides, indicating the Huckabee fan base to be less pleasant than that of Donald Trump. One such fan had this to say, “Nailed it.”

Had I replied, “ yup! Just like Christ on the cross” the pile on would have been suffocating, albeit well deserved. Had Elie Wiesel made the Huckabee comment, this would be an entirely different conversation. Huckabee and I are free to say whatever we wish, but one of us has a little more restraint.

When Huckabee lowers himself to the debate stage next week, he should have this to say, “Mission Accomplished.”

I don’t normally bootstrap blog posts onto other people’s epic videos, but when I do it is truth boom that hits you in your solar plexus.

Here is a nice little stroll down memory lane for the ‘switched sides’ brigade. Happy Independance Day America, enjoy your little factual history lesson.

And while you are at it, look up who put Japanese Americans in concentration camps and look up who proposed reparations for them.

There is nothing quite like failing a Figure Skating test at the age of 31 that catapults one back to being the last picked for kickball.

Despite getting ballet lessons when I asked for figure skating as a child, I decided at 31 I was not dead, it was never too late and off I went, “the beginning of me.”

Group lessons gave way to private, and ice dancing became my passion when I had a lesson with a visiting coach from Russia. “Why you so clumsy,” he queried upon delivering me back to coach Marie.

I practiced the Dutch Waltz doggedly for my upcoming test. The only thing I remember of that debacle was my coach not looking at me and me forgetting the steps.

Crushed but undaunted, I shook it off and made a whole new plan for the next one. Take two tests, that way if I failed again, I had a shot ten minutes later to pass the other. I had a competition dress made and formed a life long bond with Marie my coach, but none of this helped my anxiety.

The day before the test, Marie said, “As your friend, I am telling you, you do not have to do this. Nothing is worth putting yourself through this.”

But I refused to bail, not after she and I had become so close and she had worked so hard, but I was a mess, just like the time before.

On test day, I donned my new skating frock, and lucky bra; I applied my make up, did my hair and threw up before setting off to the rink and another failure. As I pulled out of my driveway, this song came on the radio and it all melted away in the first strains of that song.

When I got there, I told Marie, “Just look at me, look at me when you put me on the ice, I need you to keep looking at me.” My test partner was another coach and I wasn’t even aware of him at that point I just locked onto her eyes and held her gaze. I craned my head to see her as I skated away to redemption. I ask you now, whom do you really think I was skating with that day?

Amirite ?

After watching this Bill Whittle video I finally get why I cannot stand Pam Geller. It is for the same reason I cannot stand Michael Moore, John Stewart or Bill Maher. None of the people do what they do for altruistic reasons. They stand for nothing other than lining their own pockets and getting attention under the guise of #caring.

I don’t believe for a minute that Pam Geller held her Draw Muhammed contest to take a brave stance for free speech. I believe she did for attention, I have always believed that.  But the great Bill Whittle made me realize finally what I find so loathsome about Pam Geller. She cares as much for free speech as Al Gore does the environment.

I agree with every word in this video. I just wonder if Pam Geller does.

Food Fetishes, Control Freaks, Food Faddists and Charlatans

Honky Tonk Jew:

The only thing that needs banning is the FDA. Kudos to American Elephant for bringing this long overdue overreach to light.

Originally posted on American Elephants:

The FDA is expected to issue a rule that will effectively ban the use of manmade trans-fat containing hydrogenated oils in all foods. There’s some controversy about the difference between the manmade variety — the trans-fats that occur naturally in beef and dairy products — and the trans fats in partially hydrogenated oils. The American Heart Association recommends eating no more than 2 grams per day.

In any case, the FDA claims the ban could save around 7,000 lives per year. The agency has required food manufacturers to list the trans fat content of packaged foods since 2006. That’s helped reduce the amount of trans fats in the average American’s diet from far above to well below the American Heart Association recommendations.

So if Americans are already eating less trans fats than health experts recommend, why the push to ban them?

The ban comes as a result of a lawsuit…
