It is baffling to understand how this story can be considered news. It is a one sided essay about someone who appears to be another democrat carpetbagger who single handedly heads up LD18.

It might surprise readers to know CJ Briggle in fact has a counterpart, Jeni White the Republican chair of LD18. I guess next week is her profile? I won’t be holding my breath.

It is the height of irresponsible reporting to print proclamations by Briggle that the needs of the residents of LD18 are not being met. She does not speak for me. She goes on to tout what issues she finds important and again, assigns this to all. One such need would be to assure taxation without representation does not occur. Thank Goodness for Sal DiCissio!

Briggle attacks DiCissio and the reporter fails to get his comments, see mine above wondering why this was a news piece. DiCissio fearlessly took on the public worker unions in the city of Phoenix. The very thugs Cj Briggle “represents”.  For his efforts, DiCissio’s personal property has been vandalized, his wife directly threatened and his tiny daughter indirectly threatened while out to dinner with her warrior daddy.

Despite this, DiCissio goes about his business with a smile on his face and fire in his heart to represent the tax payers in the city of Phoenix, while CJ Briggle engages in little more than political ding dong dash.

Hat trick for the Goldwater Institute

Yes EJ, there IS a democracy working. This is going to be quick. The court order, to allow the umpteenth selling of the soul of Glendale’s homeowners to get on the ballot was 2000% correct.

At the end of the day, it is the property and business owners of Glendale, AZ who will be on the hook for the failure of the Phoenix Coyotes. If the Coyotes pull a rabbit out of their ass and somehow begin to run in the black, the homeowners will not see a dime of this windfall.  If anything, they will get hammered again in the form of higher taxes due to higher property value.  Some business owners might see a boon in the form of ancillary traffic, but it is not enough.

The Goldwater Institute did its job and so did the court. The issue belongs on the ballot and nowhere else. At this point, the issue has come a full dysfunctional circle.

Executive orders for Dummies

19 Tuesday Jun 2012

Once again, EJ Montini’s ass is pea green with jealousy over the shit pouring forth from his pen.

Vigorously defending he Comrade in Chief for “doing the right thing” and not just pandering, (um yeah ok), he vilifies Governor Jan Brewer for signing SB1070 in order to get re-elected, yet cites not one fact to back this up.  And writes as if Obama invented amnesty.

Most disingenuous, is Montini’s citing 3 and 6 year olds as examples of innocents. He forgets that the Panderer in need, has drawn the line at 16 year olds, topped them out at 30 and pissed on, not only the constitution, but also his own stance, again and again. How nice of these young people to rush to his aid when all else has blown up in his face.

My youngest child is 15. He can get a learners permit. If I dragged him into a 7-11 while I held it up at gunpoint, his defense of being a minor with his mother would yield a trial as an adult.  Were he were a girl, he would be able to skip into an abortion clinic and whack a baby.

At 16, he can drop out of school, get a driver’s license, get a job, and get another abortion behind my back (but dang it, not his tonsil taken out! That’s a blog for another day). The point is, 16, is beyond old enough to know right from wrong and dutifully follow ones parents into a life of crime. And to jump up out of your chair at age 30 to grab your get out of jail free card is beyond all reason.

I object not to the idea, but rather the fiat in which this was handled. I object to the age range and am not the only conservative that recognize the dictator in the making has recognized there are far more voters between the ages of 16 and 30 than there are 0-18.  If Mao Tse Tung wanted to effect reasonable change, he would have championed Senator Marco Rubio’s proposal and not spent the past three years poo-pooing executive order with regards to immigration reform.

Lying Laurie Roberts

One needs a shovel in order to read Laurie Roberts today http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/LaurieRoberts/164506

If I could produce half the shit flowing from her pen, I wouldn’t need Benefiber. Liberal Laurie cackles that Republicans have “played into Obama’s hands” and are tripping over the rope we have stretched across the country.”

Not so.

Of the two Arizona congressmen she quotes, (well sort of, she didn’t cite them, but it sounds like them to me) Ben Quayle and Paul Gosar have stayed right on message. Gosar adroitly points out Obama wants to be king. And I agree with this. Obama’s desperation plays pole vault past someone who wants to serve a scant four more years.

Quayle reminds us Obama and his Lumberjack jackbooted thug Napolitano have failed to secure the border at all, instead preferring to back door amnesty in an attempt to shore up the Hispanic vote.

Anyone needing details of this power play need only look at Senator Marco Rubio’s modified dream act from where this was boosted.

And doing her level best to ensure no one sees Obama’s power play for what it is, his latest pivot to pander to votes, Is Laurie Roberts to paint Republicans as racists who want to scoop up Hispanic toddlers and throw them back over the border.

Remember, it was Mitt Romney who said the best way to stem the tide of illegals was to remove the magnets. Setting the bar at 16 years of age does little to destroy this “Obamagnet”. It was also Romney who said he would personally like to staple a green card to the degree of every foreign national who got a four-year degree here.

To paint Republicans as racist is irresponsible and false. Roberts once again shows liberals are never right, just loud.

4 things I have learned from EJ Montini

Here are the 4 things I learned from EJ Montini

  1. He is a hypocrite. He bemoans out of state dollars, donated to the Goldwater Institute, but defends public service unions whenever possible. Jurisdiction doesn’t exist when it comes to unions furthering their agenda, where and when ever possible.  The Coyotes deal has been a bad deal for the residents of Glendale since the outset. And it keeps getting worse. Each and every homeowner in the city is on the hook for that team. When the city council votes to continue to feed this beast, which is taxation without representation. Just like public service unions.
  2. EJ Montini is a perfect Arizona Republic employee. He is diligent at confusing the news with agenda. Hat tip to my friend @AzBrad for that one.
  3. Without knowing the details of the City of Phoenix’s deal with the Arizona Diamondbacks, can I just point out the Diamondbacks are not money losers? In fact, they are past world champions too.
  4. The Goldwater Institute IS working to defend hardworking men and women. They are consistent in fighting taxation without representation. EJ Montini is just pissed they have taken aim at public service unions.  The fights are not dissimilar.

Confusing the News with Agenda

HT to AZBrad for the title

http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/EJMontini/163935

http://www.azcentral.com/members/Blog/EJMontini/163935

I see London, I see France, I see E.J. Montini’s biased ass.

To dub the Goldwater Institute a think tank shows just how far E.J. Montini has sunk since the foreclosure of the fourth estate. The Goldwater Institute is hallowed ground for libertarian leaning Republicans, whose mission is to keep the barbarians at the gate. Because the Arizona Republic and it’s liberal brethren refuse to do so.

If they are so good at litigation, why are the Phoenix Coyotes still around? The raw deal imposed on the residents of the City of Glendale, by the city of Glendale to ensure their tax dollars were hard at work to keep the mediocre money loser, the Phoenix (really Glendale) Coyotes in town should be criminal.

Why do out of state donors support an Arizona organization geared towards preserving liberty? I don’t know, maybe because unions spend taxpayer’s union dues on furthering their own agenda in as many states as they need to. I bet my Arizona tax dollars were funneled from one public service union to feed their epic failure in Wisconsin. So, let’s just call that a push.

In addition to Montini’s bias showing, so are his blue-collar Pennsylvania steel roots showing. For Montini, Goldwater’s biggest sin is to defend the private sector from over-reaching public service unions. The bottom line is, public service union’s spending Union dollars is unions spending taxpayer’s money. No matter how you slice it, Public service worker salaries would not exist were it not for a robust private sector footing the bill.

Teachable moment. The private sector is no longer robust and dependent on The Goldwater Institute to push back and keep the union leviathan at bay.

Az Republic as bottom feeders

07 Thursday Jun 2012

Az Republic, you have hit a new low. Your attempt to politicize the tragic death of the Butwin family at the expense of Sheriff Babeu iis despicable.
Given the nature and location of the crime scene, an illegal drug smuggling gone wrong mission was not far fetched. By the accounts I read, and the nature of Babeu\’s comments, it didn\’t look to me like the Republic asked the probing quesitions and was content to run with whatever pablum Babau was will to spill forth.
I am not the only person who crossed pleasant paths with this family who is reeling from this. For the Republic to use this horrific event as a springboard to throw punches at an easy target is nauseating and mind boggling.
You will have to square with this one day. Good luck.

quick comments on open v. closed primaries

03 Sunday Jun 2012

http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/opinions/articles/2012/06/02/20120602how-open-primaries-would-affect-elections-arizona.html

I for one hope this never happens. Independents need to shit or get off the pot if they want a say in the nominating process. Liberals typically feel closed primaries obstruct the nominating process, but what they really mean is “dang it, NOW what can I do to screw with Republican candidate choices.
And that would work both ways. Choosing a candidate for president should be left to the most dedicated and involved in either party. And that is up to the individual as to how they want to dedicate their own involvement. Looking back at the primary season we just had, we can see the Open primary states produced the most capricious results that had no effect on the eventual outcome.
